    Library science, information science, and archive science are co-source discipline. They generally focus on social information communication systems, namely oriented-user-information -needs information collection, information organization and information services, which are supported by technology. Compared with the other information disciplines, their research objects are social epistemological information, and they emphasize the relevance-centered information processes and focus more on the social construction of information meaning. Their main differences are oriented-user services ideas, which lead to the differences of information resources selection and the information organization.

    This paper analyzes the current cloud library that exists in terms of technical implementation problems, explains cloud computing, intelligent recognition, application networking, virtualization, high performance computing and trusted design method in the construction of library information technology to solve cloud platforms such as turning point. Based on these, the authors proposes a three-stage technology bottleneck, three kinds of entity objects, library technology implementation of the seven-tier hierarchy system, and revolves around the cloud background the question library, technology concepts, current technical limitations, library systems and library of architecture, and the cloud needs to address several key issues such as technology research and exploration.

    This paper explores the architecture of Web InfoMall and WICP, and then analyzes the size of Chinese Web pages, Web sites, domain and the preservation formats based on the data sets of Chinese Web archives provided by Web InfoMall for researchers in global. The results show that Chinese Web shows the same nature in the Web pages, Web site and domain distribution with Internet, although there exists some differences.. Chinese Web archiving initiatives have now begun to move into a more practical implementation phase for the whole Chinese Web sites collecting and long term preserving.

    The study explores individual stock investors’ information seeking behavior via case studies and semi-structured in-depth interviews, specifically on the selection and use of information sources.  Through open coding and descriptive statistics, we found that investors mainly use financial websites, television, and investors themselves as their main information sources. They consider the dimensions such as quality and quantity, time, and some individual factors and the specific criteria such as convenience, objectivity and credibility, authority, personal habit, and so on when they decide to select and use certain information sources.  Several factors may affect investors’ information source selection, including investment experience, knowledge on investment, and investment modes.  Moreover, it is possible that investors’ information source selection and use are related to their success or not in the market.
