    Based on reviews on the status quo and trend of collaborative e-government,this paper pointes out that the trend of collaborative e-government is the collaborative e-government oriented knowledge sharing based on semantic technology,reviews the collaborative e-government, knowledge coordination and the collaborative e-government oriented knowledge sharing, analyzes the inevitability of the collaborative e-government from information coordination to knowledge coordination. The authors point out the essence of knowledge sharing of collaborative e-government is knowledge coordination based on the common semantic system.

    By reviewing the research literatures of online lurkers at home and abroad, this paper redefines the online lurkers and their endogenous character types, and integrates the theoretical foundations of online lurker’s research. Meanwhile, this paper discusses the future research frontier of online lurkers by putting forward some related research directions in details. At last, this paper explores the meaning and value of online lurker research. The paper aims to get a comprehensive review of current status and future direction on online lurker research from information management perspective and yields some implication for information-related scholars.

    Based on interviews, this paper investigates collaboration between Chinese faculty in US library and information schools and domestic faculty, including type, formation, main academic institutions and influence factors of the collaborations. Results show that, most interviewees have some kind of academic relationship with domestic faculty, collaboration plan or willingness. Their informal scholarly network becomes important medium of communication in domestic LIS field. Current collaboration relationships mainly depend on individual factors. Academic institutions play a role in promoting the collaboration and communication through their policy.

    The paper collects co-link data of 30 selected university library websites by using Yahoo!. Social network analysis is used to analyze the co-link network of university libraries from the angle of network density, accessibility, centrality, subgroup, core-periphery, and block model. The result reveals the over-all structure of network and the roles of library websites. It also shows the network communities and the relations of them. Moreover, several improved suggestions for the construction in our university library websites are given out.

    Based on the WOK, the personalized knowledge service offered by university digital library mainly includes: the analysis service of trend towards disciplinary development, the track service of research fronts on the disciplinary area, the evaluation service of statistics and quality on research papers, and the analysis service of intelligence of institutional competitors. The established knowledge service model is consisted of three sections: the customization of user’s knowledge service requirement, the customization of service tactics, offering knowledge service, getting feedback from users and testing of the service quality. The service process primarily contains: the principle and application of resourceful tool, the organization and input of knowledge, the utilization and value of knowledge.

    This paper analyzes the research methods of digital library promotion abroad based on a set of related research papers. The methods contain practical survey, theory study, and case study.
