Inspired by the MVC architecture in software development, this paper proposed a digital library mobile visual search framework (MVSMVC) based on linked data,which consists of three modules: model module (Model),controller module (Controller) and view module (View). In addition, this paper pointed out that LIS researchers should focus on the model module, which means they should give full attention to its advantages in resources construction and establish a linked visual resource repository in order to provide users with a better search experience.
This paper proposes a resource construction mechanism of mobile visual search in digital library, and presents the method of constructing new visual resources based on crowdsourcing approach. Specifically, three aspects are further investigated in this study, namely crowdsourcing task design, incentive mechanism of user participation and quality control of task results, and then a comparison analysis is conducted with the traditional information search mode. Finally, the authors conclude with the visual resource construction mechanism in digital library setting.
The paper first gives a brief review on the connotation and application of mobile visual search on the basis of the existing literature,and proposes our own definition for mobile visual search from both general and narrow scope. Then the paper elaborates on the various stages of mobile visual search, i.e., visual resources collecting, visual resources organizing, and visual resources presentation. A theoretical mapping is conducted to relate the various gamification elements with the main stages of mobile visual search, and the objective of gamification,real examples and motivational affordances are also illustrated. Furthermore, the paper puts forward the design framework of gamification in mobile visual search, and a three-level model has been proposed and explained.
Combining with the new changes of government information management under the background of big data, this paper analyzes the traditional U.S. government information management laws and policies from the aspects of government information access and publicity, protection of government information copyright and the safety of government information, then mainly discusses the developments of U.S. government information management laws and policies in this three areas. Finally combining with the present situation of our country, it explores the significance of those developments in making relevant laws and policies for our country.
The similarity and difference between the Book of Changes and modern intelligence analysis were compared from five dimensions of intelligence analysis framework which consist of philosophical thinking, principles,methods/techniques, processes and results, and the author thinks that the divination based on the Book of Changes should be considered as "upstream" rather than its "source" in a river of modern intelligence analysis because the difference is much more than similarity between them.
The purpose of this paper was to conclude the development of technology foresight through the following aspects: history, international pattern, functions, application fields and methods.This paper emphasized on the new concepts, ideas and usages, and discussed the functions and prospects of technology foresight.
Firstly, from the perspective of process, system, personnel and technology, the paper analyzes some theories like the three stage model of crisis management, competitive intelligence Herring model, Douglass´system theory, and Miller爷personnel composition theory of intelligence value creation system. Then it constructs enterprise competitive intelligence mechanism theory model based on crisis life cycle, on the basis of theoretical analysis and the existing research results. Lastly, 5 problems of model implement have been presented such as organization and system construction, crisis early warning work, crisis disposal work, crisis assessment work, and restoration work in Enterprises.
In order to apply the knowledge theory,based on a bridge and link think tank, the paper analyzes the formation mechanism of decision-making of the different actors influence, builds influence logical architecture of think tank . Using Bourdieu's social practice theory , the paper analyzes the evaluation elements of the influence of think tanks from the field of space, the concept of habits and capital tools . And then the author constructs the think tank influential assessment framework under the guidance of practice, clarifies the relationship between influencing factors such as the system, resources, quality, channels.
This paper discusses the conceptual definition,architecture,business process,innovation points and disadvantages of the "Taofengcai"about library service platform based on the cloud computing technique,and furtherresearch direction is also provided.This paper mainly analyzes IaaS、PaaS、SaaS and client server. Meanwhile,nd also give some suggestion on improving the level of security,nhancing borrowing and purchasing rules,planning the construction structure of library collections reasonably,mproving the quality of business and increasing the number of cooperative enterprises,nd issuing the platform specification.
This paper takes the real data in Sina as object, constructing the topic network by measure the mutual information degree of subtopic evolutionary from online event. Then complex network analysis been used to measure the nodes′betweenness centrality and visualize the sub network topology of topic relation, achieve the target of segment the developed topic and clear the polarity transition rules of public opinion. The result can provide the practice reference of crisis qualitative, technical intervention, event tracking and other crisis management work.
Based on the perspective of resource acquisition, the paper aims to select the high-level open course ware home and abroad from the aspects of quantity scale, access channel, organization system etc. Meanwhile, it thoroughly analyzes the open course ware which in compliance with the selection criteria from the aspects of the discipline distribution, time distribution and copyright status etc. On this basis, for open course ware acquisition and utilization, it puts up some construction strategies such as establishing the resource acquisition, updating and expanding mechanism, developing the adaptive resource indexing and organizing system, forming a user participated sustainable operation mode etc.
Based on the related literature about domestic and foreign library micro-service, the authors make a comparative analysis about the development and hot spots of library micro-service, in order to know its development and provide the future direction for domestic library micro-service.
From the perspective of self-service technology, the paper builds the "mobile library service quality influence factors model". Through empirical study, it explores the relationship among different variables and how they influence the quality of the mobile library service. The research findings indicated that the model has good reliability and validity; perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and perceived convenience have a positive influence on perceived service quality of the mobile library; perceived ease of use is influenced by perceived enjoyment positively;perceived ease of use impacts on perceived service quality by partial mediation of perceived usefulness;perceived convenience also plays a mediation role on the relationship between perceived usefulness , perceived ease of use and perceived service quality.
This paper studies the public library services for children and teens from the angle of information equity. First, the paper introduces the advanced point of public library services to children and teens in the way of content and object of the services. Secondly, through the study of relevant policies, rules and standards of the public libraries in the United States, the paper makes an analysis on the internal factors why the public libraries in America achieve success.Finally, drawing lessons from the practice of public libraries in the United States, combined with the condition of our country in present stage, the paper concludes how the libraries in our country should play the function of a social system to realize information equity.
The building strategy of librarians capacity are explored under guiding framework including dynamic development, opening collaborative and innovative hands-on, and four goals, four process and four relationships are included into theory content, and soft environment innovation and dynamic capabilities are included into practice approach.
The paper selects fulltime undergraduate universities′library in the Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei region as object, makes the investigation, statistical and analysis of the revelations of open access resources of all the libraries. Through investigating the instructions,accuracy,methods of open access resources and the usage of the resources links，the authors find out the problems of open access resources′construction of all the universities and put forward some suggestions of open access resources of the universities in order to promote cooperative development of university libraries.
The paper discusses the change of library service concept under the new media environment through interviews using two groups of college librarians and users as sample space, data collection and analysis methods are used to study based on the grounded theory. The paper abstracts the core category of participating libraries,that are"community", "authority" and "experience". The basis of the construction of participatory library is constructed through the thorough division of the sub-categories, properties and dimension. A kind of participatory library concept model is put forward and explains its building blocks. In the end, the future research direction of participatory library model is summarized, which can provide reference for the construction of domestic libraries.
