By questionnaire survey online, this paper investigates and analysis the Wechat users’relationship between individuals and groups, as well as the boundary of their private space through the empirical analysis method. The results showed that the WeChat promotes the relationship between individuals and groups, in individual relationship, classmates and family members are the most and the highest degree of intimacy relationships; in groups, users prefer to communicate with close friends, when the intimacy is moderate, the common interests is the main factor to maintain the group relationship. In private space, the high intimacy private space boundary is determined by the information content; the low intimacy private space boundary is divided by the needs of users’personal life. No matter what relationship is, the information content is the key point to the private space protection. To more intimate friends, the user divides bigger private space boundary and has higher tolerance for information intrusion. Based on the findings above, this paper puts forward some specific suggestions further.
