Article summarizes the basic situation of digital scholarship support workshop and institute which the Association of Research Libraries has conducted, reveals the viewpoints and specific practices involved in digital scholarship support workshop of the north American university libraries from eight aspects, such as the basic idea of the digital scholarship center, planning, goals and strategy of digital scholarship center, the applications of library and other content collections in teaching, learning, and research,the governance of digital scholarship the institutionalization of digital scholarship. On the basis of this, the article puts forward some suggestions on how to promote the study and exchange of university libraries and the innovation of library service in university libraries.
