Abstract

According to analyzing the related literature regarding the privacy policies of American intelligence fusion center, the legislation and judicial precedents concerning the protection of privacy, it is outlined how American fusion centers evolve and what is the existing models in the face of the protection of privacy rights. It is summarized that the privacy protection principles must be obeyed in the process of intelligence fusion. It is inevitable that American intelligence fusion can switch from emphasizing national security to striving for a balance between seeking national security and protecting individual privacy in a relatively short time, yet it is notable that America still faces the great challenge of protecting the privacy rights of citizens in the future intelligence fusion process.
