Abstract

Based on the journals of information science & library subject embodied by SSCI, this paper collects relevant data of three-year period (2015-2017) to calculate and construct a two-dimensional evaluation map of the journals’ academic trace; taking this journals as a sample, 3 primary indicators and 18 secondary indicators were used to systematically compare the correlation and independence between academic trace and influencing factors. The study found that academic trace is highly correlated with IF、Eigenfactor、Immediacy Index and H-index; but no relations with self-cited rate and OA(P>0.05); there are significant differences in academic trace among different divisions、subject attribution、
index system and publishing cycles, the Interdisciplinary and multi-collection system journals have better performance.
