Abstract

Looking back on the development of bibliography in China in the past 40 years of reform and opening up, bibliography research has experienced the ups and downs of research heat. While achievements have been made in basic theory, applied research and bibliographic history, there are also problems such as uneven distribution of subject areas, disconnection between theory and practice, lack of effective integration of technology and academic research. This paper systematically summarizes the current situation and historical status of bibliographic studies in this period, and makes some reflections on bibliographic studies in China, so as to clarify the focus and direction of bibliographic studies.
