Abstract

[Purpose/significance] This paper attempts to reveal the annual academic development characteristics of China's library and information science with data-driven as the academic hot spot in 2019, and analyzes a variety of new academic themes, new methods and new forms reflecting this characteristic. [Method / process] It analyzes and discusses from five aspects: data drive, data guide, data calculation, data service and data literacy. [Result /conclusion] In 2019, "data" is the most significant, important and significant driving force for the whole library and information science, which is mainly reflected in the continuous increase in the popularity of this academic research site, more focused, deepened, expanded, more influential, more cross-border, more international research, and many new studies highlights and new academic research topics are of great significance to the future research of library and information science.
