Abstract

[Purpose/significance] Driven by data, the contribution of opening government data to digital governance has attracted attention from many disciplines, such as management, politics, computer science and so on. Analyzing the heterogeneity of knowledge in the field of openning government data from an interdisciplinary perspective is of great significance for sorting out the knowledge structure in the field and activating the application value of interdisciplinary knowledge. [Method/process] A knowledge heterogeneity model is conducted and the domain disciplines are divided based on the documents in the field of opening government data in the past 15 years in SSCI and SSCI, and the methods of document growth, knowledge map, citation index and text mining are used to measure the differences of domain knowledge scale, knowledge subject and core knowledge from the cross-disciplinary perspective in this paper to reveal the difference level of domain knowledge in different disciplines. [Result/conclusion] The results show that the overall
development trend of knowledge scale in the field of opening government data is good, and the transformation of foreign domain knowledge in subject application is faster than that in China; the heterogeneity of foreign domain knowledge in different disciplines is larger, while the integration of domestic domain knowledge is higher; core knowledge in the field of opening government data has obvious interdisciplinary attributes. The research system of core knowledge in foreign countries is more perfect than that in China. Library and Information Science has been an important contributing discipline of core knowledge.
