Based on the opportunities and challenges of the current development of library science in China, it responds to the concerns of current context. [Result/conclusion] Under the background of the construction of new liberal arts. it is the core mission of library science to ensure the effective search and access of information; This positioning, on the premise of the inclusive library profession and career discourse, further constructs the space for the development of the discipline and
