[Purpose/significance]Constructing cultural heritage digital infrastructure is not only an important means to protect and inherit cultural heritage, but also an important guarantee for supporting new research paradigms in an open scientific environment [Method/process]This study takes the German National Cultural Heritage Research Data Infrastructure Construction Project NFDI4Culture as the research object, and analyzes the construction content, organizational structure, and operating mechanism. [Result/ conclusion]The study found that the NFDI4Culture project uses digitization of cultural heritage in the form of research data infrastructure, which has the characteristics of collaboration, unified standards, and the establishment of an entire data life cycle ecosystem. The study concludes with suggestions for China to carry out related work.
