Abstract

Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Regional differences directly affect the level of public library development, and also lead to the difficulty of public library evaluation and grading. In this context, the exploration of normalization evaluation path becomes particularly important. The normalization evaluation path is embedded in the daily operation and management of public libraries, which provides guarantee for the healthy and sustainable development of public libraries. [Method/process] Based on the multiple dilemmas of identification, participation, implementation and correction of public library evaluation in the context of regional differences, this paper discusses the basic ideas of constructing the normalization evaluation system and implementation of public library evaluation, and promotes the normalization operation of public library evaluation with a more reasonable mechanism.[Result/conclusion] Normalization evaluation provides a quantifiable dimension for the evaluation work, and helps the public library service to move further towards standardization, equalization and the leapfrogging and coordinated development of public libraries in backward areas.
