Abstract

[Purpose/significance]“Search as Learning”is a hot research topic in the field of user information search
in recent years, the article mainly discusses the influence mechanism of cognitive style and task complexity on the mo?
bile video users’learning related search behavior, which helps to understand the essence of users’video search behav?
ior, and provides a reference for better designing and optimizing mobile video information search system to improve video search user experience.[Method/process] The article uses the experimental method, taking BiliBili video platform as the test system, and divides the search process of users completing learning-related tasks into knowledge acquisition stage, knowledge learning stage, interactive reflection stage and knowledge integration stage. Using social cognitive theory as a guide, it investigates the impact of individual factor (cognitive style) and environmental factor (task complexity) on users' video search behavior. [Result/conclusion] The results show that cognitive style mainly affects users’behavior in the stages of knowledge acquisition, knowledge learning and knowledge integration under the learning- related search tasks, and the influence of task complexity on users' behavior was mainly manifested in the knowledge acquisition stage. The research conclusions can help to enhance the interactive experience and learning efficiency of video information search users, and give enlightenment to optimize the interactive design and learning service function of video information search system.
