Abstract

[Purpose/significance] This paper aims to analyze the reality, possibility and necessity of building an inde? pendent knowledge system of information resource management with Chinese characteristics through the inspecting of the annual academic focuses. [Method/Process] Through the analysis of the internal logic relationship of the ten aca? demic hotspots in 2022, this paper shed light on the background, policy implications, endogenous dynamics and under? lying logic of building the independent knowledge system of information resources management with Chinese character? istics. [Results/Conclusion] The renaming of the discipline provides a valuable opportunity to build an independent knowledge system of information resources management with Chinese characteristics. A series of top- level designs such as the cultural digitalization strategy provide policy guidance for building an independent knowledge system of in? formation resources management. Cultural self-confidence and technological drive have given inexhaustible impetus to the construction of an independent knowledge system of information resources management with Chinese characteris? tics. Besides, academic ideas such as the hierarchical social cognitive theory, which have the adaptability to the local situation in China, also provide the underlying logic for building the independent knowledge system of information re? sources.
