[Purpose/significance] The digitization of government services has facilitated the lives of the public, but el?
derly users cannot use mobile government applications conveniently due to the digital divide. Establishing a scientific
and reasonable evaluation index system for the aging-friendly design of mobile government service apps can accurately
and truly understand the aging-friendly design level of government affairs applications, so as to better carry out rele?
vant work and promote the convenience and sharing of people's livelihood services. [Method/process] Based on the
background of aging-friendly transformation, this article considers the characteristics of the elderly users, reviews the
theoretical and practical research, and builds an evaluation index system for the aging-friendly design of mobile govern?
ment service applications. [Result/conclusion] Combining the expert data, the weight coefficients of each index were
determined by using hierarchical analysis. Finally, three typical mobile government applications were evaluated, and
referenceable suggestions were provided for the aging-friendly design of mobile government service applications.
