[Purpose/significance] As classic literature evolve from static paper compilations to dynamic digital knowl⁃edge infrastructure, their value possesses multi-layered and multi-dimensional characteristics. Through a systematic analysis of the generation, dimensions, and realization paths of classic literature value, this paper aims to improve and enrich the theoretical system of classic literature value at the theoretical level, and provide a solid theoretical reference for promoting the high-quality development of classic literature construction at the practical level. [Method/process] First, through literature review and theoretical analysis, the logic of classic literature value generation is explained; sec⁃ond, starting from specific service scenarios, the multi-dimensional value manifestations of classic literature are re⁃vealed; finally, from the perspectives of mechanisms, technology, and strategic adaptation, feasible paths for realizing the value of the main document were explored. [Result/conclusion] The value of classic literature is rooted in solid re⁃alities and profound internal logic, and is a positive response to the objective requirements of the current transformation of knowledge production models and the development of academic innovation. The value manifestation of classic litera⁃ture has three dimensions: the first layer is the basic support value, mainly including the value of carefully selected doc⁃uments; the second layer is the basic empowerment value, mainly including the value of education and teaching, aca⁃demic evaluation, supporting original creation, and knowledge dissemination; the third layer is the strategic guidance value, mainly including the guiding value. To realize these three layers of value, it is necessary to closely adhere to the core positioning of each layer and form a complete closed loop of mutual empowerment and synergistic efforts by build⁃ing a linkage system of "selected mechanisms - application scenarios - strategic adaptation".
