摘要

[目的/意义]目前基于大数据的信息分析已经成为信息分析领域的研究焦点和发展方向,但其却有着无法克服的局限性:过度倾向定量研究、数据与情境脱离、难以真实还原复杂现象与受成本限制。[方法/过程]本文通过梳理厚数据概念,将其与大数据进行对比后提出基于厚数据(Thick Data)的信息分析新模式,阐述其内涵和优势。此外,参照传统信息分析的过程提出基于厚数据的信息分析流程并对其结果进行故事化。[结果/结论]本文认为基于厚数据的信息分析具有可解释性、可预测性和可激发行动性,其适合探索性研究、具备跨学科理论基础并可与大数据分析互补发展,可以作为信息分析研究的新方向。

Abstract

[Purpose /significance] The current information analysis based on big data has become the research focus and development direction in the field of information analysis, but it has some insuperable limitations: excessive tendency to quantitative research, data and situation separation, difficult to truly restore complex phenomena and limited by cost. [Method / process] By combing the concept of thick data and comparing it with big data, this article proposes a new information analysis mode based on thick data, and expounds its connotation and advantages. In addition, referring to the traditional process of information analysis, this paper proposes an information analysis process based on thick data and story its results. [Result / conclusion] This paper considers that the information analysis based on thick data is interpretable, predictable and motivating, which is suitable for exploratory research, has interdisciplinary theoretical basis and can complement with big data analysis, and can be used as a new direction of information analysis research.
