Abstract: [Purpose/significance] Health information avoidance behavior has produced potential impacts and harms on people's lives. A systematie review of empirical studies in this field can provide targeted research strategies and suggestions for subsequent empirical studies on determinants and the exploration of process theoretical models.[Method/process] By ollecting empirical literature on health information avoidance behavior over the past 15 years, 33 valid literatures containing 42161 samples were selected. A meta- analysis method was used to identify the key factors affecting the avoidance behavior of health information. Strength and directionof relationship between the four aspects influencing factors and health information avoidance also derive from a systematie and integrated analysis. [Result/conclusion] There are differences in the measurement of influencing factors of health information avoidance behavior, lacking of a widely applicable scale. The individual, cognitive and emotional levels have attracted more attention from scholars,but the situational level has failed yet. There is dfferent level influence of four aspectson health information avoidance.
