[目的/意义]文章提出了研究资料的收集与分析是学术研究的基础，第一手资料在学术研究中具有极端 重要性的命题。[方法/过程]文章从三个方面进行了论述，包括何为第一手资料、为什么要用第一手资料、如何使 用第一手资料，同时结合13个案例进行了理论与实践相结合的阐释。[结论/结果]从性质特征而言，第一手资料 具有本源资料、原始资料和经眼资料三大特征；从学术价值而言，第一手资料有助于学术创新、学术发现并最具真 实原貌和完整性；从使用方法而言，需注重第一手资料的全面性、多样性，并秉持怀疑精神和认真核对的态度，对 准第一手资料的使用提出了要求。

Abstract：[Purpose/significance] This paper puts forward the proposition that the collection and analysis of research documentation is the basis of academic research, and that first-hand documentations are of extreme importance in aca? demic research. [Method /process] The article discusses from three aspects, including what is first-hand documenta? tions, why first-hand documentation should be used, how to use first-hand documentations, and combines 13 cases to explain the combination of theory and practice.[Result/conclusion] In terms of nature and characteristics, the firsthand documentation has three characteristics of the source data, the original data and the eyedata; from the perspective of academic value, the first- hand documentation is conducive to academic innovation, academic discovery and the most authentic original appearance and integrity; from the perspective of the use method, it is necessary to pay attention to the comprehensiveness and diversity of the first-hand documentations, and uphold the spirit of skepticism and care? ful verification attitude, and put forward requirements for the use of quasi-first-hand documentations.
